how our verification works

Professional Dealers:

You have a legally mandated right to cancel and return the watch within 14 days of receiving it, without giving a reason. You are responsible for the return shipping costs.

Private Sellers:

Private sellers are not legally obligated to accept returns. Unless they voluntarily agree to take the watch back, you may be stuck with it unless you can prove it was drastically misrepresented.

Watchdweller Escrow Service:

For all Trusted Checkout purchases, your money sits in an escrow account (usually for 14 days for dealers, 7 days for private sellers). During this time, you must inspect the watch. If the watch is fake, broken, or not as described, you can raise an issue with Watchdweller to pause the payout while the dispute is resolved.

Platform Limitations:

Watchdweller acts as a marketplace rather than the actual retailer. If a private seller refuses a return, Watchdweller’s policies dictate that they only mediate; a refund is not guaranteed without the seller’s cooperation
