At Watch Dweller, every luxury watch listed by a professional dealer (new or pre-owned) must be authentic. Dealers are contractually required to verify authenticity before listing any watch, and to ensure listings are accurate and transparent.
If a watch has any deviations from its original condition (e.g., polished case, replaced parts, aftermarket strap, missing papers/box), the dealer must clearly mention this in the listing description.
Secure Checkout (Escrow Protection)
To help protect both buyers and sellers, Watch Dweller offers a secure Escrow-style payment process for eligible transactions.
Your payment is held securely for up to 14 days after delivery.
Funds are only released to the dealer after this holding period, giving you time to inspect the watch.
If Something Isn’t Right
If your watch is defective or not as described, you can notify us within 14 days of receiving the order to start a fast and straightforward resolution/refund process (subject to the terms in our Buyer Protection and Sales Conditions).
If you’re considering purchasing a watch from a private seller on Watch Dweller, we recommend reviewing the listing carefully and requesting extra details where needed (additional photos, service history, serial details, box/papers, etc.).
Private Listing Review
Every private seller listing goes through a review before it’s published. As part of this process, sellers may be asked to provide additional proof-of-ownership photos and verification images.
Escrow-Style Payment (Private Seller)
For private sales using our protected checkout:
You transfer your payment to our secure holding account
We hold the payment for up to 7 days after delivery
This gives you time to check the watch before funds are released to the seller
Returns & Complaints (Private Seller)
Private sellers may not be legally required to accept returns. However, if there is an issue, you can file a complaint from your Watch Dweller account within 7 days of delivery, and we’ll help both parties reach a fair outcome before payment is released.
Fees & Limits
Creating a listing on Watch Dweller is free.
If your watch sells successfully, we charge a commission of 6.5% of the final sale price.
Private sellers can have up to 10 active listings at a time.
How to Create a Listing

Go to your account dashboard and choose Sell a Watch / Create Listing
Enter the make and model, then add photos, condition details, and pricing
Add payout details (if required) to receive your funds after a successful sale
Once submitted, your listing will be reviewed and published after approval
